We want every beef order you place to be a simple, hassle free ordeal. With all of the articles and talk about beef, it's hard to know what the best thing to feed your family is. When you purchase beef from us you are feeding your family the same thing that we feed ours - high quality beef raised with love and respect right here on our property.

NUTRITION
Our cattle have their own nutritionist that we meet with monthly. He assesses them and gives us a feed ration that allows us to raise the best quality beef. They receive a combination of both hay and grain, along with vitamins and minerals. No growth hormones are needed due to their perfectly balanced diet.
Our beef consume a perfect diet to create beautiful marbling with the tender, buttery texture that sets our beef ahead of the rest.
We pride ourselves in the superb quality of our beef and pork.
How to Purchase Our Beef:
Sides of beef available by reservation only, yearly from February through November
Approximate* Hanging Weight:
Eighth: 100-125lb
Quarter: 150-200lb
Half: 300-350lb
(Heavier beef are divided into quarters and eighths)
Cost Per Pound:
Includes all processing and vacuum sealing*
Eighth: $4.50/lb + $20 processing fee
Quarter: $4.25/lb + $30 processing fee
Half, Whole: $4/lb + $50 processing fee
Our standard cut list: Ground Beef, T-Bone, Porterhouse, English Roast, Delmonico, Sirloin Steak, Round Bone Roast, Arm Roast, Stew Meat, Sirloin Tip Roast, Rump Roast, Brisket Roll, Round Steak, Flank Steak, Chuck Roast
Halves and Wholes have the option to alter the cut list or make requests. Quarters and eighths do not.
You have 7 days after we contact you that your beef is ready to pick it up unless other arrangements are made and agreed upon by us. After the 7 days you will incur a $5 per day storage charge.
We require a $200 deposit by check. We will hold the check until you pick up your meat and pay the balance. Make checks payable to: Dickert Farms. Address: 250 Gillen Lane Mineral Point, Pa 15942. Include a phone number, address and what the check is for (ex: 1/2 cow, 1/2 hog)
When you purchase any meat from us and pay the total, you are relinquishing us of any and all responsibility of the product. There is no "warranty" on the meat and no refunds.
