FREEZER BEEF
We want every beef order you place to be a simple, hassle free ordeal. When you purchase beef from us you are feeding your family the same thing that we feed ours - high quality beef raised and processed on our farm.

NUTRITION
At our farm, we prioritize the health and well-being of our cattle by providing them with a carefully balanced diet of hay and grain enriched with essential vitamins and minerals. Formulated by a nutritionist, this diet ensures that our cattle thrive, resulting in the highest quality beef.
We believe that nutritious meat begins with top-notch feed, which is why we take pride in raising all of our own feed for our livestock.
How to Purchase Beef:
Sides of beef available by reservation only -
Approximate* Hanging Weight:
Eighth: 100-120lb
Quarter: 175-210lb
Half: 300-370lb
(Heavier beef are divided into quarters and eighths)
Cost Per Pound:
Includes all processing and vacuum sealing*
Eighth: $5.50/lb + $50 processing fee
Quarter: $5.25/lb + $80 processing fee
Half: $5/lb + $140 processing fee
Whole: $5/lb + $280 processing fee

* Please keep in mind, each beef varies so these numbers are estimates.

Our standard cut list: Ground Beef, T-Bone, Porterhouse, Rump Roast, Sirloin Tip Roast, London Broil, Delmonico, Chuck Roast, Arm Roast, Brisket, Skirt Steak, Flank Steak, Eye of Round Roast, Sirloin Steaks, Stew Meat, Short Ribs, Soup Bones, Back Ribs
* Eighths of beef often times do not split evenly when breaking down. Ex: There may only be 3 sirloin tip roasts, so your eighth may not receive one, but may receive an extra chuck roast, or the equivalent weight in ground beef. We make it as even as possible, but if you do not receive a cut listed in the cut list, it is because it didn’t split evenly. The same goes for briskets. There are two per half, so you may not get a brisket, but will get another roast in its place.

Halves and Wholes have the option to alter the cut list or make requests. Quarters and eighths do not.
Please use caution: It is important to get us your deposit in a timely manner. We put orders in the order the deposits are received. We may have beef available when we talk, but if you wait to send your deposit, we may have received other deposits in that amount of time, so your order may be pushed back.
You have 7 days after we contact you that your beef is ready to pick it up unless other arrangements are made and agreed upon by us. After the 7 days you will incur a $5 per day storage charge.
We require a $200 deposit by check. We will hold the check until you pick up your meat and pay the balance. Make checks payable to: Dickert Farms. Address: 250 Gillen Lane Mineral Point, Pa 15942. Include a phone number, address, the date we talked, and what the check is for (ex: 1/2 cow, 1/2 hog).
When you purchase any meat from us and pay the total, you are relinquishing us of any and all responsibility of the product. There is no "warranty" on the meat and no refunds.
